People were asking me for face masks last week, and I was also seeing a lot of people wearing badly fitted ones that fell down, or struggling with glasses steaming up, so I thought it might help if I made some. Have a look at my stories (on Instagram) to see me waffling about them.
They fit snugly over the sides of your face, under your chin and over the bridge of your nose, but leave plenty of room around your mouth and end of your nose to breathe and talk without feeling restricted. Wire across the entire top edge can be moulded to your nose and cheek bones to reduce air escaping upwards and steaming your glasses up.
They’re made from two layers of cotton, they can be washed and reused many times - and they don’t fall down! Winner winner chicken dinner.
Goes without saying but obviously these are not medical grade PPE, I cannot guarantee any level of protection, they are simply homemade 2-ply cotton face coverings.
This listing is for the red polka dot design, it may vary slightly from the one pictured due to pattern placement on the fabric.
