Refund policy

Returns policy for in-store purchases:

If you change your mind about an in-store purchase, please return the unused goods to us in their original condition and packaging within 14 days and we will offer you an exchange or a credit note.

  • This policy does not include items bought in the sale (at a reduced price).
  • This policy does not include pierced earrings or food items for hygiene reasons.
  • This policy does not include seasonal items once the season is passed - for example you cannot return Christmas themed items after Christmas. 
  • This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights, including your right to request a repair, replacement or refund if goods are proved to be faulty or mis-described.

Please note that returns may need to be referred to the manager (Erica Stahl), please call us on 0131 347 8657 or email info@pippingifts.com if you would like to check if she is in before you make the journey to the shop. 

 

Returns for online purchases
We hope that you are happy with your purchase, but if for any reason you are not, please contact us at info@pippingifts.com within 14 days of receiving the item, explaining the reason you wish to return it. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging.

The following items are non-returnable unless proved to be faulty or mis-described: 

  • Perishable items such as food
  • Earrings for pierced ears due to hygiene issues
  • Gift vouchers
  • Personalised or bespoke items made to order

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase so please include your order number and name in the parcel so we can locate your order on the system. 
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the purchaser. 

Shipping
To return your product, you should post your product to: Pippin, 30 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5JZ.

Please contact us first, before sending anything back. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. You should use a service that offers sufficient cover for the value of the item and obtain proof of postage. We will not be held responsible if the item does not reach us.
