What are your opening hours?
Our bricks and mortar Edinburgh gift shop is open for business, our opening hours can be found by clicking here. Our online shop is open for orders 24/7!
Are you offering Click and Collect?
Yes, just place your order and choose Pick Up at the checkout, then you can collect anytime during our opening hours. Please see our Delivery page for more details.
Can you write a card for me and send it direct to the recipient?
Yes! We are happy to do this, just choose your card and add it to your shopping cart, then add your words in the Gift Message box in the shopping cart (before you start the checkout process) and we will write this into the card and send it off for you. Remember to include your name in the message unless you want to remain anonymous, as we don't include any other information in the parcel.
Why doesn’t my gift message show up on my order confirmation email?
This is a frustrating limitation of the website, I'm sorry - it does show on the system at my end so please don’t worry, but if you are concerned and want to check, please just get in touch via email with your order number and I will be happy to confirm the details with you.
Do you offer a gift wrap service?
Yes! We will wrap your purchases in tissue paper as standard for all online orders. If you would like it wrapped in fancier wrapping paper, simply choose a sheet from the wrapping paper section and then leave us a message in the Gift Message box in the shopping cart asking us to wrap it for you.
Can I add a gift message to a gift without purchasing a greeting card?
Absolutely - if you buy a gift and have it sent direct to the recipient, and you haven't bought a card to go with it, we will write the message on one of our compliments slips and include it in the parcel. Don't forget to add your name unless you'd like it to be a mystery! We don't include any other information in the parcel.
I'm sending an item as a gift, will there be any pricing information in the parcel?
No, don't worry - we remove all price tags before we send the order out, and we don't include a delivery note or receipt in our parcels, just a compliments slip.
The recipient lives fairly close to the shop, can you deliver this in person rather than posting it?
Unfortunately not - this is something we offered during lockdowns when the shop was closed, but now that we are open full time again, we need to be in the shop all day. You can either place an order to be delivered by Royal Mail, or you could choose the click and collect option and tell the recipient that a surprise is waiting for them if they can pop in to collect! Please do wait until you receive a notification that the order is ready for collection before telling them to pop in, just to make sure we are ready for them.
I want to buy something that is currently marked Sold Out, can you notify me when this becomes available?
Our website doesn't have the function to do this automatically but if you drop me an email on info@pippingifts.com I will be happy to make a note and contact you if the item becomes available again.

I'm only buying one card, why is the postage so much?
Our P&P charges are the same whether you buy one card or lots of bulkier things - most of our orders are a small parcel size, so the cost is calculated on this basis.
How quickly will I receive my order?

Some of your ring sizes are in numbers, how do I translate them to letter sizes?
Extra small: 52-53 (M-M 1/2)
Small: 54-55 (N-O)
Medium: 56-57 (P-Q)
Large: 58-59 (Q 1/2 - R)
Extra large: 60-61 (S-T)
