Shipping policy

P&P Charges

Standard shipping is £4.95 for Royal Mail Tracked 24 or £3.95 Royal Mail Tracked 48. 

There are a few heavy or bulky items which will incur a higher shipping charge of £7.50 and will be sent Royal Mail Tracked 48. These items are marked in the product descriptions. 

We do not ship outside the UK. 

Dispatch times

Please note that we can only pack and post orders on days when our bricks and mortar shop is open, which is currently Monday to Saturday. Orders placed by 3pm on an open day will usually be posted the next open day. This may take longer at very busy times as we are a very small team, running both the shop and the website. 

Please note, when you receive an automated email telling you that your order has been dispatched, this means that it's packed and ready for the next post run - it won't actually be taken to the post office until the next business day. The email will contain your tracking number so you can follow your parcel's progress. 

Once Royal Mail has collected it, they aim to deliver Tracked 24 parcels the next working day, and Tracked 48 parcels within 2 working days, but this is not guaranteed. 

TRACKING

As we now use a fully tracked Royal Mail service, you will receive a dispatch notification email with tracking number when your parcel has been processed. If you follow the tracking link it'll take you to Royal Mail, if it says 'we're expecting it' that means the parcel has not yet been dropped off at the post office which will usually be the following morning. Once they have it you'll be able to follow its journey to you. 

Please note that we can only see the same amount of tracking information as you. 

CLICK AND COLLECT

We offer a free click and collect service. Place your order online, choose the "PICK UP" option at checkout and you can collect from the shop anytime during our opening hours. We can usually have your order ready very quickly (when we are open) but please wait until you receive an email notification saying your order is ready before travelling to the shop - at busy times it may not be ready until the next day. 

If you are struggling to collect during opening hours please contact me on info@pippingifts.com or 0131 347 8567 and I'll do my best to arrange a collection time to suit you but this cannot be guaranteed, so please do check the opening hours before selecting the click and collect option.
